happy end - ashita tenki ni naare (mp3)

who the hell sampled this from happy end's 1971 album 'kazemachi roman'?

i'm sure it's a circa 2000 jurassic 5/quannum/blackalicious/dj shadow type effort and possibly one of those short interlude-y album tracks that were all the rage back then. seriously, this has been doing my head in since i first heard this song at the beginning of last year and, since there are a couple of you who like nothing better than pulling us up on our poor, poor research, i thought i'd give you the opportunity to use your knowledge to non-smug ends, as well as finally allowing me to listen to this lovely little song in peace!

a newton faulkner album to the winner!
