regular readers will know that as well as blethering on about silly records here in our little corner of the internet, we also run a little saturday shindig down here in manchester. long-term regular readers (yes, that's both of you) will also be aware that this blog was originally set up with the purpose of informing would-be visitors of our night on the sort of thing we like to play ...

having strayed so far from our original remit (with, i'm sure you'll agree, quite charming results) today's track is a return to our old ways, with a record that we just can't get enough of playing ... there's a lot of beta band affection within common's massive management-heavy hierarchy, so if anything beta related always goes down a storm, you could well call this the type five hurricane. we love it!
