the end (of the year) is nigh

thanks for (hopefully) sticking with us in these times of sparse updates, the christmas run-up has been a bit mental, and with us both working in retail you get used to winding up on the approach to christmas, rather than winding down.

if you've been down to "our do" over the last 12 months, firstly thank you very much, and secondly you probably won't be suprised to find out that common were handed the accolade of "best music" in the manchester evenining news end of year bar awards, which has pleased me and mark immensely.

and it wouldn't be a christmas post without a christmas mp3, one of my favourite artists covering one of my favourite christmas songs -

sufjan stevens - o holy night! (mp3)

see you all in 2006 - where we'll have more guests, more fun, more suprises and hopefully a good few more posts!
